Today was nice, after work had dinner with my cousins Chandel and Michelle ❤️. Haven’t seen them in a little while so was really happy to see them. Chandel moved to Mountain House about a year and a half ago, and Michelle recently moved to Manteca so now we’re all in the valley! We all haven’t lived this close to each other, actually ever lol. Well Chandel’s family moved to Manteca when we were younger, so we were able to spend a lot of time together. Michelle has always lived in the bay, but I would still visit her a lot when we were younger. But crazy that’s she’s finally moved to the valley and I’m so happy she’s closer now too. Chandel asked if we were down to have dinner since she’s off of work for 2 weeks so we had dinner at Mikasa Sushi in Lathrop. So glad to catch up, and I’ll see them again this weekend since we’re going to Michelle’s house for our Grandma Inez’s death anniversary.
Besides that, work has been good. There’s been a few changes which is fine. But glad that I’ve finally reached 6 months and I feel like I have a better handle on my job. It always takes a little while to get the hang of things. I think 6 months is usually when people start feeling more confident in their jobs, and then after 1 year even more of course. I feel like after 2 years is when you truly feel grounded in a job and have a hang of everything. Overall I just continue to do my best and grow as much as I can.
Lastly, I feel like I’m just trying to prepare more for the future and have been focusing on saving money. I’ve also been really trying to get more sleep over the past few months, atleast 7-8 hours so I’ve been feeling good. Okay will blog again some other time. Good night 🌙
