So today was fun – kinda but also not really lol. So Marley and I went to Ross like I mentioned to return these 2 frames of artwork that I bought and also a jacket. Bought them last week and Peter and I liked the artwork at first, but when we actually had them in our apartment, we realized we wanted something else. Peter said they were nice, but wants us to put up artwork that is more meaningful and not commercial which I liked and agreed with. So although we didn’t like those pieces, it helped me to finally put up artwork that we already had that I’ve been meaning to put up, but was still deciding where in our living room lol but finally put it up that same day. There’s this Paint By Numbers piece that is finished, and it was nice that I actually painted that piece with my mom and sister in law Lina. Peter said, “I’ve been waiting for you to put that one up because that one is nice and more meaningful.” So yes it’s up now and returned the other artwork today.
But anyways, the day became not so fun after we got back to my car and it didn’t start for some reason. Tried starting a few more times, and also went into the car manual guide to learn what all of the notification lights meant that popped up in the car. One of the lights that came up was for steering control, and so I thought about how I’ve been needing to get my transmission fluid changed. Then called Peter who was still in SJ, and he said that shouldn’t be the reason why my car wouldn’t start. So then I called insurance and requested for them to send someone to help jumpstart my car. It wasn’t so bad since I actually still needed to eat lunch, and I had already planned to get food around there. So while we waited, Marley and I walked over to California Fish Grill that was closeby and ate there while sitting outside. Luckily the weather was really nice outside today and so it was fine to eat there and then wait.
Then I got notified that the towing company was almost there so we walked back to my car. And luckily I parked under a tree so it was in a shaded area thank goodness so we just sat in my car a few more minutes until they got there. So then this was when it got weird – I got notified that they had arrived and couldn’t see them, and so I called the number that was provided. Then unfortunately, found out they had not arrived, and actually they never received the request from my insurance and no one was on the way 😑. Which was annoying since I had already been waiting for an hour. So tried to contact my insurance again, but while I was doing that, I tried starting my car again. Tried a couple times and it still didn’t start, but after a few more minutes I tried again, and luckily it started! So then everything was okay and I’m glad it just turned on instead of me having to speak to insurance again to try to get someone else to come, and have to wait again 😛. So yes was so thankful and that was the easiest scenario that it just started again. I was already thinking about leaving my car there overnight, and just coming back for it tomorrow if no one came, but luckily it started again and we were able to make it back home.
So yeah that was my day! Lol luckily it was earlier in the day, and also didn’t take up too much time since we went go eat anyway. Now I plan to get my transmission fluid changed tomorrow so I feel like it was just a sign and reminder for me to do that before I got into an even worse situation. So yes will go tomorrow.
Well Peter just got back from SJ now and going to ask him how golfing was lol. Also here is the painting we put up! Loved how it to turned out and thanks again to my mom and Lina for painting it with me 💕
